LOT 3 Large Lot of Vintage TOMY Battery Operated Thomas the Train Over 50 Engines / Cars / etc (Gullane). My nephew asked me to sell his Thomas the Train Engines/Cars from his childhood.

These were played with and as such, show normal wear and tear. They have also been stored for many years now. NOTE I have 2 other auctions with 90 pieces of blue track each LOT 1 and LOT 2. I have done a quick test on each train ONLY to check if the wheels turned when the battery was inserted and turned on. I did not test on a track, test how much hauling power it has, etc.

I just did a simple categorization of either wheels move or non-working below (and marked with blue painters tape in the pictures). Note that some of these take a AA battery and some take a C battery (which took me a bit to figure out haha), none of which are included. A few of the battery compartments have seen better days and some of the wheels have the rubber rings/grips while others do not.

I can only tell you whether the wheels turned when I put the battery in (often the trains took a few seconds to start moving after they are turned on Im assuming this is a design thing or a storage thing because it did this on most trains, though once they started moving it was instant when you turned it off/on again). I put as much info below as I could in some cases I could not read date very well thus the?
